Learning about the wildfires in Southern Oregon and closure of Interstate 5 south of Medford touched me. I thought I would share some pics from a trip in 2018. There were wildfires at this time too and remember seeing the horizon with affects of the smoke. The waterfall is from Lower South Falls in Silver Fall State Park and rest are from Glacier. I feel for the people of Oregon and California.

This past weekend the weather in the Midwest teased me. Saturday high was around 62 and clear blue skies. The gray skies are terrible. Give me a nice 10F clear day anytime. So I decided to share a picture I took in Netherlands several years ago. Can not wait for my bulbs to appear. Gives me reason to get outside and take some pics. Enjoy.

fall means fall migration like the pelicans in Yellowstone. took this pic last July in Yellowstone. Fall is my favorite time of year. My wish is for you to embrace fall.
Sunrise from famed Amphitheater at Bryce National Park. Woke up several hours before sunrise and arrived at my spot around 30 mins before sunrise. Then heard the rumble of two tour buses and the sound of people running to my area. My wife kept guard to protect my tripod and location. The shire beauty was worth it.
